New year, same two teams at the top. Edina Green and Proctor-Hermantown met in Thief River for the championship last year, will they meet again this year in Blaine? Our first crack at the top ten this year showed us that District 10 looks strong with three teams in the top ten. The Lake Conference reigns supreme with Edina, Tonka and Wayzata gobbling up four spots.

Edina wins three in a row, they firmly lock down the top spot. The Danglefest is 12 days away, we can't wait to see this many great teams in one rink. Andover and Tonka skate to a tie. Minneapolis storms into the top 10 with six straight wins - they won the Grand Rapids tourney last weekend.

Top seven teams all stay the same this week, with all of them picking up wins versus unranked opponents. Number two Moose Lake wins a tournament up in Hibbing this weekend. Red Wing moves up one spot in the rankings to number eight and they also won a tournament this weekend- Hasting Sugar and Spice tourney. Mankato (9-1-0) is the last spot in the rankings, as they finally get the rank that they deserve. Only loss for Mankato is 2-1 versus number one (Minnetonka Black).

Not much changed last week at 10A. One team that stands out is Champlin Park/Coon Rapids, they are off to a hot start at 9-0-0. Roseville and Minnetonka skate to a 4-4 tie telling us that there will be some leap frogging down the road. Bemidji is in the top ten with their hot start, proving that District 16 will be a competitive league this year.
