A logjam of Lake Conference teams clog the middle of the rankings, with Edina, Wayzata, and Eden Prairie slated at No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6 respectively. Rochester Lourdes climbs to No. 8 after scoring a 6-4 win over then-No. 8 East Grand Forks, and the Eagles also gave No. 1 Warroad one of its closest games of the season. The Warriors needed two goals in the third period from Hannah Corneliusen to erase a 1-0 deficit against the Eagles en route to a 2-1 victory.
Cloquet-Esko-Carlton and Duluth Marshall continue to transition between unranked and ranked, with the Lumberjacks reentering this week. The 'Jacks are back thanks in large part to Duluth Marshall's recent loss to the Hayward Hurricanes, a co-op in the Wisconsin system. The Lumberjacks beat the Hurricanes 6-1 in early January.
