Edina scraped past Prior Lake 2-0 in the first Bantam AA game of the day behind the sparkling goaltender of Liam Sebek with 24 saves and single goals from Jimmy Clark and Ryan Andor. The Hornets thwarted the speed and skill of the Lakers by repeatedly dumping the puck into the Prior Lake zone, slowing the game down and capitalizing on their own chances. 

Game 2: Chaska-Chanhassen > Roseau (5-2)

Notes

After going down 2-1, Chaska-Chanhassen stormed back against Roseau, potting four straight goals to pull away for a 5-2 victory over the Rams. Five different players tallied goals for the Stormhawks, with Zach Seltun leading the way with a goal and two assists. With the win, the Stormhawks will meet Edina in the semifinals on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Game 3: Osseo-Maple Grove > Lakeville South (4-0)

Notes

Osseo-Maple Grove took a 2-0 lead in the first period with two goals from Bennett Glad and never looked back en route to a 4-0 win over Lakeville South. The Leafbirds peppered Cougars' goaltender Ethan Dahlmeier with 35 shots in the win, and took advantage of over-pinching Lakeville South defenders to create numerous odd-man rushes. 

Game 4: Wayzata > Moorhead (5-3)


Wayzata's Andrew Streeter had a hat-trick and two assists for the Trojans in Friday's win over Moorhead.

Notes

The opening minutes of the game between Moorhead and Wayzata were a dream for the Spuds. Abe Carlson and Aaron Reierson put Moorhead up 2-0 in the first in front of a packed house, and concluded the first period with the lead and the momentum. 

However, Wayzata's veteran group responded, tacking on four goals in the second and adding a fifth in the third for a 5-3 win. Andrew Streeter led the way for the Trojans with three goals and two assists, and impressed defensively with his physical play. The Trojans now move on to the semifinals, where they will face Osseo-Maple Grove.
