One of the more fun battles of the day had Moorhead outlast #1 Stillwater Black 5-4, to move onto the Saturday semis. Spuds' Olivia Kortan had a part in every Moorhead goal (2G, 3A) and Ella Holm collected a hatty, including the GWG. Stillwater's Josie St. Martin did her best with a hatty of her own.

Skippers celebrate early goal
Minnetonka skipped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period and never looked back. They defeated Lakeville 5-2 to advance to the semis on Saturday. The Skippers were led by Molly Ryan 2 goals. Lakeville's goals were scored by Gabby Bouman and Ella Fowler.

This was a battle to the end
Andover scored the first two goals and lead 2-1 after 2 periods. But Duluth tied things up early in the third on a short-handed goal by Grace Karakas. And then it took 5 overtimes before Izy Fairchild scored to bring a 3-2 victory to the Icebreakers.
