Kyle Henke will skate for the North Stars again this year after playing in the BEL's Minor Division in 2018.

Abe Carlson, Moorhead Bantam AA

Carlson is one of five Moorhead skaters on the North Stars' roster and helped lead the Spuds to the Bantam AA State Tournament in March. Carlson has proven he can excel in a goal-scoring role or a distribution role, notching seven goals and five assists for 12 points for the North Stars last BEL season in the Minor Division.

Kyle Henke, Grand Rapids Bantam AA

As mobile as a defenseman his size could be, Henke logged serious minutes last season for the Thunderhawks' top Bantam team. Henke's strength allows him to win most battles along the boards, and his booming shot makes him a weapon along the blue line on the power play.

Tory Lund, Sartell Bantam A

Lund's workhorse ways as an every-other-shift center stem from playing for one of the smaller youth associations in the state, Sartell. Lund is wildly athletic and moves efficiently while forechecking a back-checking.

Zam Plante, Hermantown Bantam AA

Plante is an exceptional player who plays the game a step ahead of most other skaters. Plante is rarely caught out of position, Plante skates with his head up when the puck is on his stick and is capable of scoring or assisting on every offensive possession. Plante participated at this year's USA Hockey Select 15 national camp this past month.

Grant Winkler, Duluth East Junior Varsity

Winkler and goaltender Zander Ziemski opted to skate with fabled Minnesota high school program Duluth East as eighth-graders last winter instead of playing in the Hounds' bantam program. Winkler's powerful stride makes him difficult to knock off the puck, which comes in handy when he's launching rockets at an opponent's net.
