Seesaws are all fun and games until someone climbs off the playground contraption and emerges victorious over the other.  

Breakaway and Euro American Red engaged in a back-and-forth, give-and-take contest in the 2009 Division final, with Breakaway coming out on top 5-4 after holding off a late Euro American Red charge. Brody Lee tallied a pair of goals in the win for Breakaway, with single scores coming from Elliott Schultz, Brady Kennedy, and Karsen Herman. Kennedy also notched a pair of assists for Breakaway. Braeden Waller powered Euro American Red with two goals, followed by Finn Kampa and Jackson Ringdahl who scored once apiece.

Breakaway goaltender Quinn Beumer was selected as Most Valuable Player.
