Unfortunately for the Black Bears, the year is not 1993 or 1999. 

The Twin Cities Selects picked up 2006 Division gold with a 5-3 win over the Black Bears, a come-from-behind effort considering the Black Bears lead 3-2 after the first period. Will Emerson exploded for a hat-trick in the win, with Ashton Schultz chipping in a single tally. Logan Hensler scored two goals for the Black Bears in the loss, with John Stout adding the other score.

Henry Lechner finished the game with three assists. Twin Cities Selects’ forward Brendan McMorrow earned tournament MVP honors.
