Apple Valley Burnsville took home the title in Albert Lea last weekend

Commentary

Rochester Red looks "red-hot" out of the gate, almost fifteen wins already and their three losses come to AA teams; they sit at number one. Number three Chaska/Chanhassen (Purple) takes home the Woodbury tourney, they look like an early favorite for a deep district 6 run. Defending state champ, Warroad, opens the year at number seven, could easily see them reaching and staying in the the top five. Number nine Apple Valley/Burnsville has a slow start to the year, but are currently riding an 8 game winning streak and an Albert Lea tourney win over number 10 Armstrong-Cooper.

Hastings is number five in our first crack at Bantam B top 10

Commentary

Stillwater (Black) is number one and has  out scored opponents 63-10, Ponies are the number one team in the first installation of the rankings. Number four White Bear Lake (Black) has the most wins across the level, but they will be tested more soon. Undefeated Hastings is the last team in the top five, they are looking really solid in D8 play. Pretty tough to tell who is going to come out on top of D2 this year, but number seven Mahtomedi is another strong contender...they won the Woodbury tournament Sunday.
