Pool C Preview

Both of Stillwater's losses have been by one goal against Osseo-Maple Grove Black and Forest Lake, and the Ponies have recorded eight wins and a tie in their other 11 games. Offense promises to be the calling card for the Ponies, as they have outscored their opponents 78-15 through 11 games.

Like Stillwater, Edina White's losses have been close, with all three of the Hornets' defeats being by two goals or less. The Hornets are battle-tested with a schedule that includes quality teams from top to bottom and have gone 2-2-1 since starting the season 4-1.

Woodbury is 6-4 going into the Gobbler, but the Predators are on a three-game skid after staring 6-1. Five out of the Predators' games have ended in a shutout, with Woodbury taking three of those five games. A 5-1 win over Burnsville/Apple Valley is one of the bright spots of a slow start for Shakopee, which is 2-5 entering the tournament.
