The top four teams - Minnetonka, Anoka/Rogers, Wayzata and Edina all continue to beat each other up. This week, Tonka's win over Edina is enough to keep them number one. Duluth gets a nice win over over Tonka and goes 2-1 on a city swing, they move up a couple spots.
Anoka/Rogers has played 41 games this year. Of the 41, 10 have come against North Wright County and Elk River. They are 2-1-2 against them both!
The Spuds stay at #2 despite a tie with emerging Roseau last weekend
|4||Osseo Maple Grove||3||WW|
The 12A's are starting to take shape. Andover is queen of the castle, but the next nine are really gearing up for a run at regions and state. A new and IMPROVED 32 team regional is going to be fun. Two teams from the NORTH that are starting to separate are Roseau and Moorhead. They played last weekend. Don't sleep on Alex, they won their home tourney last weekend at Runnestone. Eagan-IGH jumps a couple spots with a decisive win over Woodbury.
River Lakes is 19-0-2 this year...here is their champions picture after winning the Brainerd tourney.
|4||Litchfield Dassel Cokato||5||TW|
|9||Evelth Gilbert/Virginia/Mesabi East||12||W|
Previous number-one Dodge County falls to Chisago Lakes in the Albert Lea tournament. Stillwater and Edina zoom up to one and two respectively. River Lakes beats Cloquet to grab the Brainerd tourney last weekend and move up a couple spots. The Stars are still undefeated on the year.
The Wildcats (Blaine/SLP) stay put at #4 this week.
|1||Osseo Maple Grove||3||W|
|7||Champlin Park Coon Rapids||10||WW|
There are few cardinal rules of rankings...if you don't lose, you can't move down (that rule is broken, but rarely). This week, the teams took it easy on Tony....THEY ALL WON.
No movement as teams head into the second half of their 10A campaigns. OMG still number one. Bemidji has a hold on the northland with a perfect record.
|1||Grand Rapids/Greenway (Orange)||12||DNP|
|6||Blaine Spring Lake Park (Blue)||10||WW|
Another great week for the 507, Albert Lea and St. Peter/LeSueur win their games. Centennial jumps into the top ten with great 10 game winning streak...all over District 10 opponents. The Cougars are 15-3-1
