Not a lot of movement this week. A handful of teams take time off before playoffs. Edina seems to be the fastest riser - they earned the #1 seed out of District 6. Hornets back in the top ten for the first time since early season. Shakopee and Prior Lake face-off Friday, winner makes Regions, loser's season is over. Rogers is red hot, they will be a tough out during Regions.

Roseville and Faribault finish the season at one and two respectively, that is the state championship game we predicted a couple months back; it is definitely pretty possible. What a season for number four Apple/Valley Burnsville they just recently hit 30 wins on the season, and also are outscoring opponents by 100 on the year. Number fourteen Hastings is our dark house prediction for postseason, we think they can definitely pop into the state tourney and then win a game in state as well.

Heavy favorite all year for the state title in PWB, is 37-2 Mahtomedi; really solid all around team and congrats to a wonderful regular season to them. Number five- East Grand Forks (Red) is streaking at the right exact time, and are currently on a nine game win streak heading into regions. Grand Rapids is my prediction for runner up in state, but they are one of the few teams that can beat Mahtomedi- they definitely have the firepower to do so. Look for Redwood Falls to potentially make a Cinderella run in Regions.
