Commentary

Andover takes state with a dramatic win over three-time state champ Edina. Roseau with a strong finish, the Rams grab eight spot. Gauging by the 12A final rankings the last four years, look for more Andover and Edina clashes.

Best Game of YearAndover vs. Edina II - Game one was a great defensive battle, game two had a nearly full bowl at the X, a four-peat on the line and live statewide TV audience.

Commentary

Breck with a three-peat in convincing fashion, they win state. But, Cloquet-Esko-Carlton won our hearts. Led by coach Courtney Olin, the Lumberjills beat highly ranked Proctor-Hermantown, Hutchinson and Warroad to gain state finals. Hutch beats SSP to grab the consolation.
