Myah Krueger picked a heck of a time to score her first goal of The Big One Girls Festival. 

Kruger chipped home a rebound in the slot to lift 2024 White to a 3-2 win over 2024 Red, clinching the title in the tournament's final game. 

A scoreless first period was followed by a Josie St. Martin goal to put 2024 White up 1-0, a lead that survived for less than four minutes until 2024 Red's Izy Fairchild knotted the game at 1-1. Nora Sauer scored to give 2024 White a 2-1 edge, with 2024 Red again answering the bell with a goal from Anna Nelson. 

In keeping with the close game theme of the day, the battle came down to the final minutes, setting the stage for Krueger's game-winning goal, assisted by Josie St. Martin and Nora Sauer. St. Martin was selected as Tournament MVP after registering at least one point in all four games of the weekend, and finishing with five goals and eight points.
