1. Andover

2019-2020 Record: 28-2

2019-2020 Finish: Class AA State Tournament (champion)

The defending state champions lose leading scorer and varsity mainstay Jamie Nelson to Minnesota State and junior forward Maddie Kaiser to transfer, but still have an arsenal of talent at both forward and defense.

Powered by senior forward and Ms. Hockey favorite Peyton Hemp (28 goals, 29 assists, 57 points), the Huskies also return a second potential Ms. Hockey candidate in senior forward Gabby Krause (22-19-41), sophomore dynamo Isa Goettl (18-18-36), and up-and-coming senior forward Tyra Turner (10-25-35). Turner, committed to Saint Anselm, has a motor that never quits, and will play a critical role in Andover's offense this season.

Though losing talent and experience on the back end, the Huskies bring back senior Joslin Mumm, senior and St. Thomas commit Madison Clough and sophomore Josie Hemp.

In goal, Andover will replace last year's starter Amanda Pelkey presumably with Minnesota State commit Hannah Skavnak, who spent last season with the Rogers boys' program. Sophomore Courtney Stagman gives Andover a talented duo between the pipes.
