2019-2020 Record: 20-8-1

2019-2020 Finish: Class AA State Tournament (fourth place)

Despite program figurehead and head coach Amber Hegland stepping down this offseason, Maple Grove will enter the 2021 season losing just three players from last season's fourth-place finish at the Class AA State Tournament.

Returning is the core of the Crimson's offense from last season, including senior forwards Lauren Stenslie (26-18-44) and Tristana Tatur (25-19-44) and sophomore forward Stella Retrum (10-17-27). Stenslie is committed to St. Thomas while Tatur will skate for Quinnipiac next season. Both could make a case for Ms. Hockey consideration this season.

Traditionally, Maple Grove has always had a strong goaltender or goaltending duo, and this year will be no exception. Brooke Cassibo impressed in 2019-2020 after taking over for two-year starter Lucy Morgan. Cassibo played every game for the Crimson, posting a GAA of 1.81 and .932 save percentage. Cassibo also earned five shutouts.
