2019-2020 Finish: Class AA State Tournament (consolation champion)

After falling to Minnetonka 7-2 in the Class AA State Tournament quarterfinals, the Rams bounced back with a 2-1 overtime win over Farmington and a 4-0 shutout victory over Hill-Murray to capture the consolation championship, ending the 2019-2020 campaign on a high note and giving the Rams a boost heading into this abbreviated season.

Gone are leading scorer Kayla Santl and standout Anika Stopskopf, but a strong crop of forward and defenders remain in Roseau. Senior forward Kate Helgeson (25-43-68) teams with rising junior forward Memphis Mertens (21-9-30) to give Roseau a solid one-two punch up front, while senior defenders Mariah Huglen (13-25-38) and Sophie Helgeson (3-27-30) patrol the blue line. Helgeson is committed to RPI.

To YHH's knowledge, all three Roseau goaltenders from last year's team will be back for this season. Last year, Jada Pelowski took over the spot in the postseason, winning five of six games as an eighth-grader. Senior Josie Johnson and junior Justine Vonasek are the other goaltenders from last year's Roseau roster.
