2019-2020 Finish: Class AA, Section 4 finals (lost to Hill-Murray)

The Ponies captured last year's Suburban East Conference championship last season and return several talented pieces from that team, albeit losing leading scorers Lauren Einan and Haley Eder-Zdechlik. 

Back to lead the Pony Express are senior forwards Morgan Wohlers (18-24-42) and Alexis Huber (22-13-35), along with freshman forward Josie St. Martin, who tallied 15 goals and 34 points as an eighth-grader.

Four of last year's six defenders return to this season's team, and the Ponies will have senior goaltender Sophie Cronk back between the pipes. Cronk notched five shutouts last year and finished with a save percentage of .907.

Like Minnetonka, Stillwater had a quality 15A team last season, and how soon some of those players can catch up to the speed of the high school game could determine where the Ponies land this season.
