2019-2020 Finish: Class A, Section 7 finals (lost to Cloquet-Esko-Carlton)

With stars Kiana Bender and Taylor Nelson moving on from last year's Section 7A champion Cloquet-Esko-Carlton, the Mirage is the clear favorite in the section, armed with a class that's been together at the high school level for a few seasons. 

Seniors Alyssa Watkins (21-26-47), Aurora Opsahl (18-21-39), and Michaela Phinney (23-14-37) headline the offense, while senior defender and Bemidji State commit Ella Anick (9-21-30) anchors the defense. Junior goaltender Abby Pajari will look to build on a solid sophomore season in which she posted a GAA of 1.37 and a save percentage of .928, plus eight shutouts.

Typically, the Mirage play a schedule loaded with Class AA opponents, which will not be possible this season. Without Andover, Hill-Murray, etc., on the docket, the Mirage will need to adjust to a less rigorous schedule.
