A two-goal second period by Hometown Hockey proved to be the meat in this sandwich of a game, with that two-goal output placed between single-goal outings in the first and third periods. 

Chase Berlin started with a goal in the first period for Hometown, with Rocco Albanese and William Blaido tacking on the second and third goals in the second period. Maverick McKinnon notched the final goal for Hometown. 

Goaltender Nolan Gist earned MVP honors after posting a 15-save shutout for Hometown. Gist also helped Hometown win a pair of close games during pool play, edging the 2011 Minnesota Blades Elite 4-2 and ProHybrid on Saturday 2-1.
