Commentary
A very wobbly pre-season stab here by our staff. So many unknowns after the top four. Hermantown has one of the best players in the state (Zam Plante) and the Warroad/EGF rivalry makes 8A a constant in class A. Throw in always competitive 2020 state champion Mahtomedi and three seeded teams for state are set. After that, it is anyone's guess who will round out the rest of the top-10 and state tourney come March.
