Rochester Lourdes at Holy Angels, Nov. 24 (7:00 PM)

Defenseman Jack Bartfield recorded 14 goals and 32 points last season for Holy Angels.

This is an all-private school battle between Class 1A Rochester Lourdes and Class 6AA Holy Angels. The Eagles graduated many players from last year's team, which means they should be young and eager to prove to Rochester Lourdes Head Coach Jeff True that they are ready for more opportunities.

Lourdes is led by senior defensemen Charlie Kielty (10-12-22) and Jackson Heim (4-12-16). Senior forward Brayden Magnuson (7-5-12) is the top returning forward for the Eagles. The Eagles will also look to sophomore goaltender Xander Carter-Kleven (4-1, .911 save percentage) to step into a more significant role as the team's likely starting goaltender.

The Stars are hoping to make more noise in one of the most challenging sections in the state. Holy Angels is led by seniors Carter Hermanson (12-23-35) and Noah Hermanson (17-15-32). Junior defenseman Jack Bartfield (14-18-32) is one of the better offensive defensemen in the state, and that should give the Stars plenty of blueline punch.

Head Coach Patrick Griswold will decide who gets the start in the crease between Bryce Hess and Luke Marsalek.
