Orono vs. Little Falls at TRIA Rink, Nov. 26 (3:00 PM)

TRIA Rink in downtown St. Paul is the practice facility of the Minnesota Wild and home of the Premier Hockey Federation's Minnesota Whitecaps. The facility will also host various high school games, including this metro versus outstate matchup here.

Orono's attack will lean heavily on junior Bradley Walker (14-14-28) to lead a young group of forwards who do not have extensive varsity experience. Orono Head Coach Will Scholz may be using lots of young talent, but he does return some experience in the crease where junior Brock Peyton (8-6, 2.94 GAA) will likely be the Spartans' top goaltender.

Little Falls has also seen a lot of turnover itself, as the Flyers hope to build on a remarkable run to last year's Class A State Tournament semifinals. Longtime Flyers' head coach Tony Couture retired and has been by former Little Falls standout Joey Hanowski.

Little Falls will be led by senior forward Hayden Johnson (7-23-30) and junior power forward Matt Filippi (19-9-28). Senior defenseman George Moore (4-5-9) is the top-scoring returning defender. Another big debut for the Flyers will be junior goaltender Richie Varriano, who replaces the graduated Dane Couture.
