Farmington at Lakeville South, Nov. 23 (7:00 PM)

Samantha Moehle currently leads Farmington in scoring with seven goals and 11 points.

This is an all southeast suburban battle between two programs that know each other well - well enough that the Tigers ended Cougars' season last year in the Class AA, Section 1 finals with a last-second goal.

The Tigers (1-2) are coming off a 6-3 loss to Apple Valley on Saturday. Farmington was tied at 3-3 during the game before the Eagles pulled away in the 3rd period. The Tigers are led at forward by senior Sam Moehle (7 goals, 4 assists, 11 points) and juniors Abby Gehrke (4-6-10) and MaKenna Kadrlik (3-5-8). Junior defense Madison Kadrlik (1-6-7) is the team's all-situations workhorse. Head Coach Jon Holmes will probably give freshman goaltender Addison Moudry (.849 save percentage) the start.

The Cougars (1-1) are coming off a 6-1 victory over Eagan on Saturday. Lakeville South's forward group is led by sophomore Brynn O'Neill (2-1-3), and seniors Ryan Wright (3-1-4), and Minnesota State-commit Taylor Otremba (0-3-3). Cougars' Head Coach Tim Morris has split starts between Claire Bronson (.900 save percentage) and Payton Lang (4.00 goals-against-average), so it will probably be a game-time decision.

Ryann Wright's three goals are tops for Lakeville South so far this season.
