Wayzata at Benilde-St. Margaret's, Nov. 23 (7:15 PM)

Benilde-St. Margaret's forward Lily Mortenson is currently tied with Emma Hoen for Red Knights' lead in assist with two.

The No. 7-2A Trojans are hoping to build on the momentum of a 6-1 win over Chaska/Chanhassen. Wayzata (4-0) is led by seniors Mallory Coffin (3-3-6) and Ohio State-commit Sloane Matthews (5-6-11), junior Courtney Jacobs (1-5-6), and freshman Nicole Britz (3-3-6) give the Trojans impressive scoring depth.

On defense, senior Sami Hackley (4-2-6) is one of the more offensively gifted blueliners in the metro area. Senior goaltender and St.Michael's commit Annika Lavender (.954 save percentage) should start against the Red Knights.

The No. 9-2A Red Knights (0-1-1) are coming off a 1-1 tie to Warroad on Friday. Benilde-St. Margaret's look to seniors Lily Mortenson (0-2-2), Lindenwood-commit Emma Hoen (0-2-2), and St. Thomas-commit Mary Zavoral (1-0-1) for offense. On defense, senior and Ohio State-commit Emma Peschel (2-0-2) will get tasked to shut the Trojans down. The Knights play good team defense, but they will need to keep this a low-scoring game if they are to have a chance.

Head Coaches Kelly Pannek and Kevin Gray will have to decide whether to give Demetra Walsma (.960 save percentage) or Allie Van Stelten (3.00 goals-against-average) the start.

Sloane Matthews powers the Wayzata offense with five goals and 11 points this season.
