Centennial/Spring Lake Park at Elk River/Zimmerman, Nov. 27 (3:00 PM)


Seventh-grader Jaycee Chatleain is tied for second among CentenialSpring Lake Park skaters with four goals in three games.

No. 4-2A Centennial/Spring Lake Park (3-0) is off to a fast start this season and kept its momentum going with a 5-2 win over Roseau on Saturday. At forward, senior Megan Goodreau (5-4-9), junior and University of Minnesota-commit Lauren O'Hara (4-5-9), and seventh-grader Jaycee Chatleain (4-1-5) give them plenty of offensive punch.

Head Coach Sean Molin will likely give sophomore goaltender Kaitlin Groess (3-0, .961 save percentage) the start for Centennial / Spring Lake Park. 

The Elks (1-1) are coming off a 2-1 loss to Warroad. Elk River / Zimmerman is led at forward by seniors Claire Flahaven (1-2-3) and Penn State-commit Maddy Christian (3-1-4), sophomore Hailey Jussila (1-2-3), and freshman Abby Hansberger (2-0-2).

Elks' head coach Brian Ballenger will most likely give sophomore goaltender Ashely Hess (.891 save percentage) the start against Centennial/Spring Lake Park.
