Cloquet-Esko-Carlton at Grand Rapids/Greenway, Nov. 30 (7:00 PM)

Araya Kiminski, Cloquet-Esko-Carlton

This matchup is a Lake Superior conference battle that always has plenty of Section 7AA ramifications to it. The Lumberjacks are coming off a 2-1 win over Moose Lake Area. Cloquet-Esko-Carlton is led up front by seniors Marina Dostal (4-1-5) and Dana Jones (1-3-4) as well as junior Emma Welch (1-0-0). Head Coach Courtney Olin seems to be leaning towards junior Araya Kiminski (.868 save percentage) as the Lumberjacks' No. 1 goaltender.

The Grand Rapids-Greenway Thunder are coming off a to. At forward, the Thunder are led by one of the most dynamic scorers in the state in freshman Mercury Bischoff (12-3-15), junior Kalle Reed (5-7-12), and sophomore Molly Pierce (0-10-10) give Grand Rapids-Greenway a strong top line. On defense, juniors Jazzy Bischoff (0-3-3) and Hannah LaFreniere (0-3-3) help keep the Thunder on the attack and the opponents at bay. Head Coach Brad Hyduke will likely give senior goaltender Makenzie Cole (.963 save percentage).
