Holy Family at Edina, Nov. 30 (7:30 PM)

Grayson Limke, Holy Family

This game features a southwestern metro battle between two dangerous teams that feature plenty of star power and where both teams have had a full week to prepare for one another. Holy Family is coming off a 5-0 win over Chaska / Chanhassen last week.

The Fire is led up front by a pair of seniors, Minnesota-commit Maddie Kaiser (5-2-7) and Dartmouth-commit Shea Messner (4-1-5). On defense, Holy Family will lean heavily on Brown University-commit Maddie Morgan (1-5-6) and junior Olivia Paidosh (1-1-2). Head Coach Randy Koeppl will give junior goaltender Sedona Blair (1.16 goals-against-average) the start against Edina.

The defending Class AA champions are coming off a 3-2 overtime victory against a plucky Rogers squad. The Hornets attack is led by seniors, Ohio State-commit Berit Lindborg (3-5-8), and Princeton-commit Jane Kuehl (4-0-4), as well as junior Ellie Chapman (4-1-5). On defense, seniors, University of Wisconsin-commit Vivian Jungels (1-7-8) is a top contender for this year's Ms. Hockey Award, and St. Thomas-commit Haley Maxwell (1-4-5) patrol the blueline.

Head Coach Sami Reber can feel confident in having one of the most battle-tested goaltenders in the state in junior and Princeton-commit Uma Corniea (1.49 goals-against-average).
