Benilde-St. Margaret's at Hill-Murray, Nov. 30 (7:15 PM)

Adam Marshall, Benilde-St. Margaret's

This is an all-private school clash of two stories programs in Benilde-St. Margaret's and Hill-Murray. Benilde-St. Margaret's is another team that lost a lot in graduation last year with Jackson BissonAsher Connelly, and Jonah Mortenson. The Knights will look to senior and last year's leading scorer Adam Marshall to lead the way and are hopeful sophomore Drew Stewart can blossom in a more prominent role.

On defense, talented Colorado College commit senior Tristan Sarsland returns (as mentioned by the Hockey News), and seniors Brady Yakesh and Ben Thompson will play an important role at both ends of the ice. Head Coach Ken Pauly will have to decide which goaltender gives his team the best chance of winning between senior Sam Schumacher, junior Brennan Chapman, and sophomore Mason McElroy.

The Pioneers are hoping to put the ugly Covid-protocol induced ending of last season behind them. Hill-Murray is led up front by senior and University of Wisconsin commit Dylan Godbout, as well as fellow seniors Anthony Madigan and Brendan Bonin. On defense, seniors Leo Gruba (mentioned by The Hockey News) and Axel Begley give the Pioneers two 6'2" towers of strength on the blueline. Head Coach Bill Lechner will be glad to have senior Nick Erickson back between the pipes (also mentioned in The Hockey News).
