Hastings at Tartan, Dec. 9 (7:00 PM)

This should be a good Metro East battle between two teams that can bring out the best in each other. Hastings is off to a fast start and has to be feeling good after earning a 6-2 win over Farmington last Thursday. The Raiders are led at forward by seniors Luke Savage (4-5-9), Connor Stoffel (3-2-5), and Jake Harris (3-2-5). On the defense, Seniors Collin Stewart (0-6-6) and Stephen Reifenberger (3-3-6) give the Raiders considerable offensive punch from the back end.

Hastings Head Coach Adam Welch has split starts between junior goaltender Kody Niederkorn (.900% save percentage) and senior Holden Richardson (.920% save percentage).  

Tartan is also off to a promising start and coming off a 4-1 win over Hopkins. The Titans' attack is led at forward by seniors Chet Bertelsen (3-1-4) and Charlie Ashton (1-3-4), and junior Colin Kammerer (3-1-4). Senior defensemen Leo Milan (2-5-7) and Luke "Sky" Walker (0-1-1) will be tasked with shutting down the Raiders' offense.

Titans' head coach Cole Leitch has given most of the goaltending duties to 6-foot-2 senior Steven Kelley (.952% save percentage) so far this year.
