St. Cloud at Brainerd/Little Falls, Dec. 7 (7:15 PM)

This should be a great central Minnesota battle between two teams who are very familiar with one another. The Icebreakers (4-3) are coming off a solid 4-0 win over a talented Class A River Lakes squad last week. Up front, St. Cloud is led by UW-Superior commit senior Cailey Davidson (3-5-8), as well as fellow senior and UW-River Falls commit Katherine Bell (5-2-7), plus talented sophomore Jenna Amundson (5-3-8).

On defense, senior Ally Breidenbach (2-4-6) and sophomore Kylie Smith (0-3-3) help keep opposing offenses in check. Head Coach Amanda Pickett has given senior goaltender Kailee Falconer (.904% save percentage) most of the opportunities this season.

Brainerd/Little Falls (5-3) is coming off a 3-1 loss to Duluth Marshall on Saturday. Their forward group is led by senior Brynne Folden (5-2-7), juniors Avery LeMieur (3-4-7), and Molly Pohlkamp (3-2-5), as well as sophomore Peyton LeMieur (0-6-6). On defense, the Icebreakers lean on juniors Josie Kappes (0-2-2) and Lucy Peterson (0-2-2) will do what they can to limit St. Cloud's scoring chances.

Head Coach Tate Rusk will probably give junior goaltender Breya Sawyer (.927% save percentage) the start against the Icebreakers.
