This is another intriguing battle of a Class A school taking on a suburban Class AA school as Northfield travels to take on East Ridge. The Raiders are coming off a 1-1 tie against Maple Grove.

Northfield is led up front by sophomores Ayla Puppe (20-9-29) and Emerson Garlie (8-8-16), who carry the Raider attack. On defense, senior Cambria Monson (2-12-14), sophomore Grace McCoshen (4-6-10), and freshman Mia Miller (6-4-10) provide plenty of offensive punch on the back end. The Raiders' power play is very dangerous, finding the back of the net at a 36.4% rate. Northfield head coach Paige Hailey will probably give senior goaltender Maggie Malecha (.940 save percentage) the start against the Raptors.  

The Raptors are coming off a 9-0 drubbing at the hands of #10 ranked Gentry Academy. East Ridge is led at forward by juniors Lily Fetch (8-7-15) and Bella Schmidt (6-5-11) lead the way for a club that scores mostly by committee.

On defense, senior Ally Barry (2-6-8) and freshman Kylee Paul (1-3-4) keep opponents at bay. East Ridge head coach Kim McClintick has split starts at goaltender between juniors Shannon Garrity (.902 save percentage) and Annika Limpert (.890 save percentage) so far this season.
