This is a south-central Minnesota battle of former Missota Conference opponents. The Tigers are coming off a 6-3 win over Waconia. Hutchinson is led up front by seniors Brady Knorr (13 goals, 10 assists, 23 points), K.K. Starrett (9-7-16) and freshman Emmett Reiter (6-6-12).

On the blueline, freshman Toren Miller (1-4-5) and junior Karsen Niska (1-1-2) try to limit opposing scoring chances and keep it simple offensively. Hutchinson head coach Matt Telecky has split time at goaltender between senior Griffin Telecky(.895 save percentage), junior Hunter Lien (.882 save percentage), and Eli Croatt (.825 save percentage) this season.  

The Trojans are coming off a 6-3 win over Dodge County. New Prague is led at forward by sophomore Braeden Woitas (3-4-7) and freshman Luke Portner (5-0-5), but the Trojans employ more of a score-by-committee approach.

On defense, senior Layton Kuehner (1-1-2) and junior Peyton Becker (1-1-2) play with physicality on the back end. New Prague head coach Brad Drazan has given senior goaltender Carter Puente (.914 save percentage) all of the starts this season.
