Little Falls at Princeton, Jan. 13 (7:00 PM)

Carter Oothoudt, Little Falls

This has the makings of a spirited Class A battle between undefeated No. 4A Little Falls and unranked Princeton. The Flyers are coming off a victory where they rallied from behind with four goals in the second to roll to a 6-3 win over Hutchinson on Saturday.

Little Falls is led at forward by junior Matt Filippi (28-25-53), senior Hayden Johnson (16-28-44), and sophomore Carter Oothoudt (13-20-33). The Flyers' power play is humming along at 41.2%.

On defense, seniors George Moore (10-18-28) and Collin Kray (3-9-12), as well as junior Coltin Johnson (4-10-14), love to blast pucks from the point.

Senior goaltender D.J. Kicker (.853 save percentage) and junior Richie Varriano (.950 save percentage) have split starts between the pipes this season for Little Falls.

The Tigers are coming off a 4-3 loss to Hutchinson on Friday. They would probably be wise to avoid a track meet kind of game against the Flyers. Princeton is led at forward by senior Dalton Wille (15-4-19) and junior Jake Baumann (7-4-11).

On defense, seniors Brody Lindquist (0-6-6) and Luke Dufner (1-2-3) try to keep opponents from having free reign through the middle of the ice.

In the crease, junior goaltender James Koechner (.888 save percentage) and senior Ben Nelson(.890 save percentage) have split starts this season for Princeton.
