Duluth Marshall at Moose Lake, Jan. 13 (7:30 PM)

This should be an exciting northeastern Minnesota battle as they meet for the first time this season. The No. 5-1A Hilltoppers are coming off a 5-1 win over Rock Ridge.

Duluth Marshall is led at forward by the trio of senior Annika Lindgren (4-26-30), sophomore Ilsa Lindaman (15-12-27), and junior Meredith Boettcher (6-11-17).

On defense, sophomore Eva Etter (1-3-4) and freshman Fianne Makela (1-2-3) keep it simple and let the Hilltoppers forwards carry most of the play offensively.

Freshman goaltender Rae Anderson (1.17 goals-against-average) has been stellar this season for Duluth Marshall.

The Rebels are hoping to make some noise after a 5-0 win against North Shore. Moose Lake Area is led at forward by a well-balanced foursome in freshman Sandra Ribich (9-11-20), senior Gabby Gamst (8-10-18), sophomores Gracie Hartl (14-4-18), and Megan Hattenberger (10-6-16).

On defense, freshman Hailie Klavu (5-14-19) is the quarterback on the Rebels' back end, helping Moose Lake transition quickly from defense to offense. She's also a big reason the Rebels power play operates at a deadly efficient 42.9%.

Freshman goaltender Mallory Hartl (.930 save percentage) has been outstanding for the Rebels this year.
