Mound Westonka at St. Cloud, Jan. 20 (7:15 PM)

Greer Hardacre, Mound Westonka

This should be an intriguing matchup of No. 4-1A Mound Westonka against a hard-working St. Cloud Crush squad that hopes to make some noise in Section 8AA.

The White Hawks are coming off a 4-0 victory over Pine City. Mound Westonka is led at forward by junior Lindwood commit Gretta Pioske (17-15-32), junior Sydney Leonard (21-16-37), as well as sophomores Camryn Hargreaves (10-14-24) and Greer Hardacre (8-11-19).

On defense, senior Montana Courneya (10-12-22) and junior Emily Wendorf (4-13-17) log a lot of minutes and help keep the ice tilted in the White Hawks' favor.

Between the pipes, sophomore goaltender Ashlyn Roth (2.32 goals-against-average) has been the go-to option for the White Hawks this season.

St. Cloud is hoping to build off the momentum of a 5-4 win over Buffalo. The Crush is led up front by a pair of seniors in Wisconsin-River Falls commit Katherine Bell (14-8-22) and Wisconsin-Superior commit Cailey Davidson (9-8-17). Additional scoring is provided by Junior Ava Schmidt (5-16-21) and freshman Molly Burkstrand (9-8-17).

On defense, senior Ally Breidenbach (2-9-11) and Kylie Smith (0-8-8) work well together to limit opposing scoring chances.

In the crease, senior goaltender Kailee Falconer (2.53 goals-against-average) has carried most of the goaltending workload this season.
