This is a great metro area test as No. 3-AA Benilde-St. Margaret's challenges No. 3-A Mahtomedi.

Benilde-St. Margaret's is coming off a 3-0 victory over rival St. Louis Park. The Red Knights are led up front by sophomore Drew Stewart (8-16-24) and senior Adam Marshall (11-10-21), then carry a score-by-committee attack after the top two point-producers.

On the blueline, senior Colorado College commit Tristan Sarsland (4-7-11, #82 NHL Central Scouting rankings) and fellow four-year varsity veteran Brady Yakesh (5-12-17) do a great job at controlling the tempo of a game.

In the crease, sophomore goaltender Mason McElroy (.927 save percentage) has carried most of the workload for the Red Knights this season.

The Zephyrs are feeling confident after a 10-2 demolition of Two Rivers. Mahtomedi is led at forward by juniors David Wosfeld (12-13-25), Charlie Drage (11-9-19), as well as senior Brent Gulechyn (9-10-19), who carry most of the Zephyrs' offense.

On the blueline, seniors Grant Dardis (2-13-15) and Cav Bruner (1-11-12) move the puck out of the zone and limit scoring chances to keep games from turning into track meets.

Between the pipes, senior goaltender Ben Dardis (.946 save percentage) is one of the best in the state.
