Hill-Murray at St. Thomas Academy, Jan. 29 (3:00 PM)

Brady Ingebritson, Hill-Murray

This is an excellent matchup between two private schools as No. 4-AA hopes to earn a regular-season sweep of 3AA St. Thomas Academy. In their first meeting, Hill-Murray prevailed 6-0, but can the Pioneers repeat that early-season performance?

The Pioneers are coming off a 4-4 tie against No. 9-AA Grand Rapids. Hill-Murray is led at forward by a pair of seniors, Wisconsin commit Dylan Godbout (17-15-32, #149 NHL Central Scouting) and Anthony Madigan (8-7-15), as well as junior Brady Ingebritson (9-8-17).

On defense, seniors Axel Begley (2-15-17) and Leo Gruba (4-12-16, #100 NHL Central Scouting) have NHL-level size and shut opponents down with precise physicality.

Between the pipes, star goaltender Nick Erickson is no longer with the team, so the Pioneers are looking to junior goaltender Jack Erickson (no relation, .924 save percentage) to carry most of the goaltending duties.

The Cadets are coming off a 5-3 loss to Blake. St. Thomas Academy's attack is led by juniors Tommy Cronin (12-15-27) and Zach Howard (11-7-18), as well as senior Tyler Grahme (6-18-24).

On defense, sophomore Will Skahan (7-10-17) and senior Tommy Stattine (1-8-9) both have height and reach to help deny the middle of the ice.

In the crease, senior goaltender Matt Schoephoerster (.875 save percentage) has played in most of the pivotal games this season for the Cadets.
