Wayzata is another team on the rise. The Trojans beat Tonka, Bloomington x2 and gave Edina a one goal game...all in one week.

Two new teams in the top two this week. Alex grabs the number one spot. The Cards have won seven of their last eight and beaten both top-10 northern teams. Grand Rapids-Greenway skates to the Moorhead title with five wins and grabs the number slot. Edina wins the Rochester tournament and slides up to #5.

Wayzata loses to OMG. But the ranking "committee" doesn't flip the switch quite as fast as most would like. Trojans still have wins over #2 and #3 and a better head-to-head record over #4. Champlin Park-CR moves up to #6, the Bluebirds have gone 15-2 in their last 17 games. Rosemount joins the party after a long stay just on the outside of the T10. The Irish had a narrow loss to Wayzata and a nice win over Farmington and Lakeville.

Mounds View-Irondale (Green) has been moved into the top five this week. After a loss a couple of weeks ago they are back on the winning track. Brainerd is potentially underrated at number seven with a 21-1-1 record, the Warriors are on the brink of a huge move up in the rankings. Fergus Falls is put into the rankings as the number ten team; the Otters had a solid January at 10-2- on the month.
