East Ridge at Woodbury (Feb. 10, 7:30 PM)

These two teams are probably not going to make a run to the state tournament, but what will likely matter more to them both is who ends up winning this game in this battle for bragging rights in Woodbury. East Ridge prevailed 4-1 the first time these clubs met in early January. Could they earn a sweep over the Royals?

The Raptors' attack is led by seniors Nick Landen (11-12-23) and John Kremer (5-17-22), who carry most of East Ridge's offense.

On defense, sophomore Davis Polifka (2-5-7) and Will Preimesburger (2-2-4) are stay-at-home defenders who do not take many risks in their own zone.

East Ridge has rotated between junior goaltender Jack Hodgins (.881 save percentage) and 6-foot-2 freshman Zane Lanahan (.866 save percentage) this season.

Woodbury hopes to build off a 7-3 victory over Coon Rapids on Saturday. The Royals are led at forward by seniors Mason Pelke (18-10-28), Macrae Gordon (14-7-21), and Nicholas Bradley (5-14-19).

On the blueline, seniors Andrew Zimmerman (3-7-10) and Jackson Miller (2-7-9) are a source of stability for the Royals by being physical in their own end.

Woodbury has leaned on junior goaltender Kam Carlson (.872 save percentage) for the majority of the season.
