Spuds faced Bemidji Saturday in a pre-Region friendly and won 3-2. The Spuds have won 14 of their last 15 with their only loss to red-hot Grand Rapids. Buffalo on a heater heading into the Regional on home ice with a nice home crowd will be a tough out this weekend.
