Drew Stewart led Minnetonka to a state tournament appearance after an inspiring run through Region play.

Stewart powered the Skippers to a Peewee AA state tournament appearance and a third-place finish, playing their way through one of the state's most robust regions.

In a win-or-go-home final game of Region play against powerhouse Osseo-Maple Grove, Stewart netted the game-winning goal in overtime and played impressively throughout the state tournament.

Stewart was named to the 2019 Founder's Cup All-Tournament Team, turned in one of the most dominant individual performances in an Edina Invitational loss to then No. 1 Chaska-Chanhassen, and played a pivotal role in the Skippers' postseason success. Consider every box checked.

In addition to excelling on the ice, Stewart participates in soccer, golf, tennis, and carries a 3.91 grade-point-average at Minnetonka West Middle School.
