2005-2006 Division Recaps

2005 Invite Divison 

Two teams sit atop the 2005 Invite Division, with Machine Orange ’06 holding a slight lead of the 2006 Minnesota Blades, thanks to a tie with the Jr. Moose on Friday night. Prior to the draw, Machine Orange defeated ’05 Miracle Gold 6-4, while Blades outplayed the Colorado Bombers for a 4-2 win. Despite the slim margin of victory, the Blades hit several pipes during the win, indicating that the score could have been more significant if not for a matter of inches. 

2006 Invite Division

The Colorado Bombers have taken over first place in Pool A for the 2006 Invite Division, going 2-0 on the first day of competition. The Bombers scored a 3-1 win over ’07 Machine Orange to start the day, followed by a resounding victory over SAL7 ’06. The game went into running time in the first period, and Colorado’s Grant Young had a standout performance with two goals and three assists.

In Pool B, the Minnesota Lakers White are in first, slipping past Euro American Red 3-2 in the nightcap after shutting out the Thunder Bay Predators 4-0 early in the afternoon.

2007-2009 Division Recaps

2007 Invite Division 

Three teams in each pool have picked up a win in the 2007 Invite Division as of Friday night. In Pool A, Eskimos Gray, the Colorado Bombers, and Hometown Hockey all have one victory, with Hometown going 1-1 in the day. The team with the biggest win in Pool A were the Bombers, who downed the Minnesota Icemen 6-1. 

Pool B has Tommy Chicago Elite and Evictors Hockey Club at the top with one win each, tied with Euro American Red, which holds a record of 1-1. The Evictors take home the prize for the most significant margin of victory in Pool B, earning a 10-4 win over the Minnesota Skeeters Black. 

2008 Division Recap 

The only team to play two games on Friday scored wins in both contests, as MPH downed Machine Force 8-5 and SAL7 ’08 9-2. The Minnesota Skeeters Black round out the winner’s circle from day one in the 2008 Invite Division with a 9-4 win over Miracle Gold.

2009 Division Recap

Euro American Red and Minnesota Muskies are tied for first in Pool A of the 2009 Invite Division with one win each. Euro American Red blanked Machine Black 7-0 while the Muskies thumped the Colorado Bombers 8-1. Pool B is owned for the time being by the 2010 Minnesota Blades and Tommy Chicago. The Blades took home a 7-5 win in a wild game against the N.D. Wolverines. Tommy Chicago edged Evictors Hockey Club 9-8 in another entertaining match.   


Alex Klimek scored two goals for the Minnesota Lakers White on Friday in a 4-0 win over the Thunder Bay Predators.
