Team GT Takes Home Peewee Crown

Team GT pulled away from Buttered Noodles for a 14-9 win in Friday's Peewee Division championship game, paced by Tyer McCracken and Dakotah Bailey, who each netted three goals during the game. The teams were tied 4-4 early on, but Team GT scored five of the game's next six goals to build a 9-5 lead, an advantage that would prove insurmountable for Buttered Noodles. Bailey concluded the tournament with 18 goals to lead Team GT, while Henry Chmiel of Spooky Dino's scored a division-high 21 goals during the week.

Without any Squirt A games on the docket for Friday, the Squirt B/C Division took center stage, as Irish Lightning picked up a pair of wins, beating the Zambronies 9-8 and the South St. Paul Blades 9-6. E-Train Express also put one in the win column, defeating the Zambronies 17-10. Currently, the Yuro Stars SQB/C, the BA Warriors, and Irish Lightning are tied for first in the standings with six points each heading into Saturday. Brielle Clardy of Irish Lightning leads the Squirt B/C Division in scoring with 12 goals in three games.

Rylee Leach has four goals in three games for Irish Lightning.
