Edina's Emma Conner led the Hornets to their fourth Class AA state championship in the last five years this past March.

2021 GHS Player of the Year - Emma Conner

Minnesota commit totaled 100 points in two MSHSL seasons

Conner ranked as one of Class AA's leading goal-scorers with 34 tallies during the 2021 season.

A Buffalo, Minnesota native whose family's work situation took her to Arizona, and whose hockey talents landed her on teams based in California and upstate New York, Conner suited up for Edina the last two seasons, saving her best for second in 2021.

Conner led the Hornets to the Class AA state championship in March, defeating Andover after the Huskies halted the Hornets' run of titles from 2017-2019 last season. Conner racked up 34 goals and 45 points in the abbreviated 2021 campaign, and totaled 31 goals and 55 points last season for a career total of 100.

Conner was one of four Hornets named to this year's Class AA All-State First Team, along with linemate Hannah Chorske, defender Vivian Jungels, and goaltender Uma Corniea. After being verbally committed to Penn State earlier in her career, Conner has since switched her commitment to the University of Minnesota.
