The No. 1 Hibbing Chisholm Bluejackets won their home tournament this past weekend. Northfield moves up one spot to take the No. 2 rank: the Raiders are on a seven-game win streak. Moorhead is moved up one spot this week to No. 6, the Spuds are playing their best hockey this January, currently riding a 10-game win streak. Warroad jumped up two spots this week and is this week's biggest riser; seven-game win streak for the Warriors.

Commentary

There is lots of parity at the BB level this season as Edina Green is the new No. 1 after defeating previous No. 1 Bloomington Jefferson and No. 2 Edina White in the same week. Prior Lake also had a strong week, defeating the previous No. 1 Bloomington Jefferson. Forest Lake is on a seven-game win streak and gets bumped two spots this week to No. 5. Osseo/Maple Grove Black goes from unranked to No. 6 in one week—that is what happens after defeating previous No. 4 Armstrong Cooper. YHH welcomes Red Lake Falls Purple into the staff rankings at this level for the first time all year. The Eagles have won nine in a row, including a win over former No. 8 Alexandria Black.

Commentary

A rough week for the top PeeWees in the state.

Lots of L's in the "Last Week" column.

Four teams lost to teams ranked below them. One of "them" was Lakeville North knocking off newly crowned #3 Chaska Chan. The Stormhawks fall, the Panthers join the top-10.

Some teams have hit the mid-season "wall."

A few teams are starting to hit their stride. Rosemount jolts Mahtomedi and Spring Lake Park beats Andover.

Don't sleep on the non-T10's!

Commentary

Rock Ridge is up to No. 4 this week, and the Wolverines have won four straight games. Eagan goes from unranked to No. 5 in one week; the Wildcats haven’t lost to a Minnesota single-A team since December 17th (that’s a long time). Shakopee propels up three spots this week to No. 6, and the main reason for that is the 11-game win streak the Sabers are currently on. Mound Westonka is new in the rankings this week at No. 10.

Commentary

Minneapolis Black moving into the top five is the only change within the top five; the Storm is on an astonishing 19-game win streak. Roseville is also up one spot this week, to No. 6; the Raiders only lost by 1 goal to No. 3 Woodbury Black. No. 10 Bemidji Blue might be a bit underrated, but watch out for the Lumberjacks to make a run toward the top five here soon. The Lumberjacks just won a tournament in West Fargo this past weekend.

Commentary

A few teams really established themselves this past week. STMA wins the Roseau tourney...beating previous #3 Grand Rapids. EGF beats Squirtacular third place team Moorhead. Both teams jump into the top 5.

All eyes are starting to point toward Fargo. Teams are playing district games, polishing their pins and making sure their resume looks good for the Fargo International committee.

Rochester Silver is ranked No. 5 this week, riding a six-game winning streak dating back to an early January loss. Cloquet Purple is new this week, and the Lumberjacks beat their intra-city team Cloquet Black by a wide margin. JGA is super close this year, and there will be a lot of changes every week. Edina beat previous No. 1 Minnetonka this week, and the Hornets skip the Skippers from the No. 1 spot. Wayzata suffered their second loss of the year this week, but they stay at No. 3 for now. No. 4 Osseo Maple Grove lost to two teams ranked above them.
