The Red Knights make their way to Richfield Ice Arena to battle the Stars in this clash of private schools.
Benilde-St. Margaret's is coming off a 6-0 victory over Hill-Murray. The Red Knights forward group is led by seniors Kendall Hassler (Minnesota State commit, 11 goals, 9 assists, 20 points) along with sophomores Talla Hansen (10-13-23), Katie Zakrajsheck (7-14-21), Josie Virnig (2-7-9) and Brynn Heising (5-5-10) give Benilde-St. Margaret's plenty of skill and scoring depth.
On defense, seniors Lulu Rucinski (Maine commit, 9-13-22), Addie Morris (Bemidji State commit), 4-4-8), Ella Pasqua (Quinnipiac commit, 3-5-8) and Bailey Gray (Delaware commit, 3-6-9) give Benilde-St. Margaret's a top four that few teams can match.
At goaltender, senior Elie Hancock (1.46 goals-against-average) has started the majority of games for the Red Knights, but they have utilized sophomore Emma Matack (.959 save percentage) this season.
Holy Angels is coming off a 1-1 tie to Blake. Seniors Masyn Mullin (13-6-19), Marissa Jung (4-5-9), and Calli Holmes (4-1-5) lead a young but talented group of Stars' forwards. Sophomores Avery Mullin (3-10-13) and Sailor Cate Schlener (2-3-5), as well as star freshman Genevive Nelson (7-15-22), give Holy Angels terrific scoring depth through its top two lines.
Senior Taylor Lesnar (10-11-21), as well as juniors Harper Poehling (7-8-15) and Riley Iverson (3-6-9), provide Holy Angels with quality depth on defense and chip in offensively. Sophomore Julianna Hitchcock (1-5-6) has shown steady improvement each game.
Holy Angels' penalty kill doesn't give up much, shutting down opposing power plays at a 91.5% rate.
Senior goaltender Zoe Rimstad (Lindenwood commit, 1.52 goals against average) has carried most of the goaltending duties this season for the Stars, but they have given freshman Marley Severson (three shutouts) a chance to showcase her talents as well.

River Lakes at Fergus Falls - 7:15 PM
The Stars make their way up I-94 to Fergus Falls Community Arena to take on the Otters. Fergus Falls won their first meeting of the season, a 4-2 result on November 19th. Can the Otters earn a season sweep?
River Lakes is coming off a 5-1 victory over Mankato West. River Lakes is led at forward by seniors Sophia Hess (19-13-32) and Madi Wendlandt (4-2-6), and junior Abby Storms (5-9-14) helps carry the Stars offensively. Sophomore Sophie Olson (1-6-7) and freshman Bria Larson (3-3-6) have gained confidence with each game. 8th-grader Peyton Roeske (7-9-16) has emerged as a key contributor for the Stars this season.
At defense, seniors Dalayne Hattlestad (0-2-2) and Makayla Schrieber-Horn (1-3-4), junior Millie Korneck (0-3-3), along with sophomore Addie Olson (1-4-5) and freshman Tyanna Blaschko (0-1-1) will try to slow down the Bulldogs' offense.
At goaltender, senior Kaydence Roeske (Minnesota State commit, 1.91 goals-against-average) has started in every game this season for River Lakes.
Fergus Falls is coming off a 4-3 loss to Park of Cottage Grove. The Otters are led up front by juniors Hannah Johnson (8-10-18) and Brooke Zierden (1-4-5), sophomores Maddie Brimhall (10-4-14) and Averie Tonneson (5-8-13), who contribute most of the scoring for Fergus Falls.
Fergus Falls' power play is off to a strong start, lighting the lamp at a 30.3% rate.
On defense, juniors Shay Katzenmeyer (0-4-4) and Rachel Debrito (3-4-7), sophomores Maggie Greenagel (6-7-13) and Lydia Johnson, as well as freshman Kynzie Zender (0-3-3) are showing improved chemistry with each game.
At goaltender, sophomore Mia Olson (2.41 goals against average) has started in nearly every game this season for Fergus Falls, but they have utilized junior Olivia Jurgens (one shutout) as well.

North Shore at Mound Westonka/Southwest Christian - 3:15 PM
The Storm makes their way down to the 952 to Mound's Thaler Arena as they take on the Whitehawks in an intriguing Class A matchup.
North Shore is coming off a 5-0 rout of Northern Tier. They are led at forward by senior Nina Thorson (15-20-35) and sophomores Berkley Hoff (16-14-30), Reese Costley (5-10-15), Reagon Hogenson (5-9-14), and Hayden Bright (5-10-15) carry most of the scoring for the Storm who are averaging a little under 4 goals per game.
Senior Addison Bentler (0-2-2), junior Sarah Stauber (3-19-22), sophomores Stella Lapointe (0-3-3), and Guilia McGiffert (2-5-7) form the core of the Storm's defense.
At goaltender, senior Alexa Harrison (1.45 goals-against-average) has carried most of the workload this season for the Storm, but they have utilized sophomore Michaela Lindgren (one shutout) and freshman Emmy Bentler (.875 save percentage) this season.
Mound Westonka/Southwest Christian is coming off a 3-0 loss to Warroad. The White Hawks are led up front by seniors Elli Lundquist (6-13-19) and Gisella Harder (10-8-18), as well as junior Brelynn Koehler (4-10-14) carry most of the scoring workload.
Juniors Ali Butler (2-9-11) and Lizzy Callahan (Minnesota-Duluth commit, 9-4-13) lead a young defense corps for the White Hawks. Freshmen Marian Omann (3-7-10), Emma Butler (2-1-3), and Stella Berenguer round out Mound Westonka/Southwest Christian's defense.
At goaltender, juniors Savannah Blahowiak (1.59 goals against average) and Emma Covell (.857 save percentage) have split time for the White Hawks.

Hill-Murray at Edina - 2:00 PM
The Pioneers travel across the Twin Cities to Braemar to take on the Hornets in a classic Class A showdown. Edina prevailed 6-3 the first time these two teams met on November 26th. Can the Hornets earn the series sweep in a game that could possibly have some seeding ramifications come state tournament time?
Hill-Murray is coming off a 6-0 loss to Benilde-St. Margaret's. Hill-Murray is led at forward by a talented trio of sophomores Jaycee Chatelain (13-19-32), Emily Pohl (17-17-34), and Elliana Engelhardt (13-15-28) who carry most of the scoring for the Pioneers. Senior Ella Hornung (Hamline commit, 6-3-9) provides experience and leadership in addition to offense. Freshman Gwynn Skoogman (4-10-14) and 8th-grader Anna Pohl (3-5-8) are off to a fast start this season.
The Pioneers' power play is efficient, as it has found the back of the net at a 33.3% rate this season.
On defense, seniors Josie Skoogman (2-7-9) and Kasey Senden (3-11-14), along with sophomore Addy McLay (0-5-5) and freshman Olivia Braunshausen (0-7-7), give the Pioneers are mobile, skilled and help the Pioneers transition quickly from defense to offense.
At goaltender, the Pioneers have split starts between junior Charlotte Oscarson (2.38 goals against average) and 8th-grader Piper Tam (2.00 goals against average) this season.
Edina is coming off a 4-0 victory over Minnetonka. The Hornets are led at forward by senior Whitney Horton (St. Thomas commit, 10-11-21), juniors Lorelai Nelson (Penn State commit, 9-13-22), Cate McCoy (Dartmouth commit, 8-8-16) and Charlotte Theirl (6-7-13) give the Edina plenty of sting up front. Sophomore Audrey Davis (11-11-22) is showing a lot of promise.
The Hornets' power play has been dangerous, lighting the lamp at a 45.2% rate this season.
On defense, senior Camille Dubuc (Quinnipiac commit, 2-12-14), juniors Brenna Prellwitz (4-2-6) and Taylor Gardner (2-4-6), as well as sophomores Kaylan Kapsen (0-6-6), Libby Moe (1-11-12) and Lilly Horton (0-1-1) help Edina control the pace of play.
In goal, seniors Nora Hannan (St. Thomas commit, 1.12 goals-against-average) and Reese McConnell (1.33 goals-against-average) have split starts this season.

Woodbury at White Bear Lake - 3:00 PM
The Royals make the short trek to White Bear Lake's Sports Center to battle the Bears in this Suburban East Conference clash. Woodbury prevailed 9-1 over White Bear Lake in their first meeting of the season on November 16th. Can Woodbury earn the sweep?
Undefeated Woodbury is coming off a 6-2 victory over Roseville/Mahtomedi to be crowned the champions of the Kaposia Classic. The Royals are led at forward by senior Natalie Meeder (Dubuque commit, 7-9-15), juniors Alaina Gnetz (Minnesota-Duluth commit, 20-13-33), Alexa Bricko (10-14-24) and Hailey Graunke (6-17-23) as well as sophomore Makenna Miller (10-7-17) carry most of the scoring for Woodbury. Freshman Maddison Boone (11-9-20) has steadily become a crucial offensive contributor for the Royals this season.
On defense, juniors Brooke Gnetz (Minnesota-Duluth commit, 4-10-14) and Maria Chlebecek, along with sophomore Bonnie Zhao (1-4-5), lead a youthful defense corps. Freshmen Jocelyn Huebsch (0-2-2), Macie Hollenbeck, and 8th-grader Maddy Mills (0-5-5) are maturing with each game.
Woodbury's penalty kill has been outstanding, shutting down opposing power plays at a 98.1% rate.
At goaltender, sophomore Alyssa Polaski (1.13 goals-against-average) has started in every game this season for Woodbury.
White Bear Lake is coming off a 6-4 loss to Anoka. The Bears are led up front by seniors Talia Domschot (9-13-22), Amanda Smythe (UW-River Falls commit, 5-10-15) and Lily Howard (2-3-5), juniors Maddie Lee (St. Cloud State commit, 8-4-12), Ashley Peltier (1-4-5) and Carlie Griffin (1-7-8) as well as sophomore Paige Downey (5-3-8) provide most of the scoring for White Bear Lake.
Seniors Grace Bailey (1-4-5) and Maddy Belisle (3-2-5), along with junior Olivia Simpkins (1-2-3) and sophomore Lyla Beck (0-3-3) round out the rest of White Bear Lake's defense group.
Sophomore Macie Marston (.887 save percentage) has shouldered most of the goaltending workload for the Bears this season.
