This is Bergeson's second season as a 20-plus goal scorer for the Spuds. The Augustana commit is a talented multi-sport athlete who knows when to come in clutch since he has eight game-winning goals in 2024-25.

Some high school hockey fans might overlook No. 8-seed Luverne in the Class A tournament, but you definitely shouldn't underestimate the power of the Cardinals and their leading scorer, Maddux Domagala. The junior forward is tied for sixth overall in the state for points scored this season, including 24 points while on the powerplay and seven game-winning goals.

Most Minnesota hockey fans will know about the main scorers for the Sabers, but don't overlook junior Owen Lunneborg in the net. He's top-10 in the state in wins (19) and save percentage (1.59), and he could be the key to state tournament success for Shakopee.

Paulbeck is the engine behind a talented Northern Lakes squad this year. The senior captain has almost 40 goals in 2024-25, including five game-winners, and he also plays a very disciplined game considering that he hasn't taken a single minor penalty all season.

As one of the finalists for the Frank Brimsek award this season, Stenehjem has been the brick wall for a very talented Moorhead squad in 2024-25. The senior netminder has the most wins in the entire state of Minnesota this year with 25 victories, even against some of the top competition in Class AA.

Hibbing/Chisholm's Cole Swanson already has almost 50 points to his name during his freshman campaign. Swanson was the one who tallied the primary assist on the overtime game-winning goal that sent the Bluejackets to state.
