Payton Rolli, Warroad
Even on a team ranked No.1 in Class A for most of the year, Rolli’s play was a head above the rest of the field.
Rolli was between the pipes for every minute of the season, outside of a 12:23 stretch for Rebekah Deemer in a Dec. 21 game against Moorhead. On the Warriors' way to a Class A State Tournament runner-up finish, Rolli made her minutes count and then some, winning 26 games and recording a GAA of 1.15 and a save percentage of .943 with nine shutouts.
The junior made 61 saves on 62 chances in the Warriors’ state tournament semifinal win over Orono, and her performance will be remembered as one of the best in Minnesota high school hockey history.
