Not a lot of changes in the top five, but after that some big time movers.
Three champions were crowned over the holidays, all are T10 teams. Woodbury won the Twaddle in Elk River, OMG took the B Dubs in Grand Forks and Andover swept the competition in Edina to win the Edina Invitational.
Andover is back in the top-10 after 10 out of their last 11 games.

Happy New Year! Not much has changed here as a lot of teams were idle during the last two weeks. Mankato retained the #1 spot as they cruised through some district/area games. The tie with Marshall has them on warning though. Warroad stays at #2 for now but held their own against some good AA teams in a Grand Forks tourney. Next is our only switch slotting in Northfield at #3 after now #4 Osseo/Maple Grove had a rough week. Rounding out your top 5 is Hopkins who did not play at all. The rest of the Top 10 all remain the same.

New Year, new #1 as Prior Lake moves into the top spot after defeating now #Minnetonka Blue on Jan 2nd. Moving to #3 is Cottage Grove who continues a solid season. Up to #4 is Mahtomedi who plugged along during the two weeks winning the Twaddle Tournament in Elk River. New Year, new team to the top ten making a splash is #5 East Metro who has silently been taking top ten teams out. Some other major shake ups this week are in the rest of the Top 10, staying at #6 we have Mankato Gold, sliding up is Minnetonka Black and Osseo/Maple Grove Black to #7 and #8 respectively. Edina White drops to #9 this edition and we have another debutant to the rankings at #10 as Woodbury Royal joins the party.

Moorhead wins the biggest AA holiday tournament going 4-0-1 on their weekend in the cities. Spuds beat three T10 teams (including Edina and CC) and five since December 20th to move into the #3 slot.
Andover has won 12 of their last 13 games and really starting to find their groove.
OMG, Tonka, CC and Minnetonka remain in the top five.

A lot of action in this grouping compared to other levels, but Orono keeps the top spot as they continue to play up at the AA level. Warroad retains the #2 spot but the loss to International Falls is a little bit of a head scratcher. Woodbury stays at #3 after cruising to a tournament win at the Edina Traditions Invitational. A slew of our top 10 teams were at the Anoka Classic with host #4 Anoka coming out on top via a shootout win over #8 Osseo Maple Grove. Rounding out the top 5 is Cloquet holding onto that spot again this week. The bottom 5 all hold their spots, Minnetonka finishes second at the Big Ole Hockey Tournament to AA St Cloud, Mankato remains at #7. #8 Osseo/Maple Grove and #9 Faribault had good Anoka Classic tournaments finishing second and third respectively. Clinging to the #10 spot is West St Paul Sibley but teams are nipping at their heels for that last coveted spot.

A lot of teams were in tournament action during the two weeks and oddly enough at a lot of different tournaments. We have a new #1 this edition in Orono who won the Warroad Tournament (1 of 5 tournament winners in the Top Ten). Osseo/Maple Grove is getting a huge jump to #2 after defeating #3 Edina White at the Edina Tradition Invitational. Slotting in at #4 again is Hermantown B1 who hosted and won their tournament celebrating the opening of the new NorthStar Ford Arena. Rounding out the top 5 is Prior Lake Navy. #6 Woodbury White picked up a tournament win in River Falls, while #10 Grand Rapids Orange won the Bemidji Tournament.

Very little movement as we get closer and closer to the Squirtacular. Chaska-Chan moves into the T10 after the Stormhawks took the Super Rink Spectacular.
A few unranked northern teams are making noise in the 218. Roseau is 13-3-0, Cloquet is rocking a 17-3-3 mark and ALEX is 12-4.

Well this one is still a little murky given the lack of results but teams are starting to pull in more results. Minnetonka White retains the #1 spot in the New Year. Holding onto the #2 and #3 spots respectively are Hopkins and Duluth. Sliding up to the #4 spot is Mahtomedi after winning The Raider Showdown in Northfield. Rounding out the top five is Wayzata Gold, albeit we want to see more results from them. We have a new entrant into the top ten with the calendar turning in #10 Little Falls who has amassed a nice 17-2-1 record so far this season.
