Commentary

Top-ranked Moorhead was idle last week and #2 Tonka through #8 Andover did not lose. Duluth East makes their first appearance in the top-10, their lone loss was to SLP/CR.

There are a lot of teams just on the outside who can make the T10 with a strong finish the last two weeks.

Commentary

After keeping almost everything the same last week, we have some changes this week. #1 Warroad holds onto the top spot after winning its home tournament. #2 Mankato also remains in the same place after picking up two wins this week. Our first change is to #3, where we are slotting Northfield after tying Mankato 5-5. Moorhead gets a boost by winning two games this week and jumpi

Commentary

In something that was somewhat expected, there were not many teams in heavy action this week, after a tournament heavy schedule last week. There is not much to report here either, as all teams did what was expected, and the losses in the Top 10 don't hurt teams. Prior Lake retains the #1 spot. #5 East Metro did play in the Austin Tournament, picking up the championship.

Commentary

Not a lot of movement at the top this week. #1 OMG outscores their competition 66-5 to win the Dick Johnson Memorial in Roseau. If they fished that well on Lake of the Woods, the game warden likely paid a visit.

There is a District 8 triad surrounding the #10 this week. Rosemount bops back into the 10-slot. The Irish have gone 16-2 in their past 18 games including wins over Hastings, Cottage Grove and Lakeville North.

The District 8 tournament is going to be a battle in a few weeks.

Anoka remains at #5 in this weeks rankings.

8 West St Paul Sibley 8 WWW
9 Osseo/Maple Grove 3 WWL
10 Faribault 9 WLWW

Commentary

This division is a little tough to rank, as several teams had slip-ups. We are going to leave Orono in the top spot this weekm but Warroad is right on their heels. Don't let the four-loss week by Warroad fool you; they decided to play up in the AA Roseau Tournament. With two losses in the Peewee A division, we are dropping Mankato to #3 this week. A few other re-order spots are that we are bumping West St Paul up to #8 this week after #9 Osseo/Maple Grove, and #10 Faribault suffered losses.

PeeWee B

Orono moves up a spot from #9 to #8 this week.

10 Minnetonka Black 6 LTTL

Commentary

There were quite a few ties this week, so what to make of it? For now, we are going to leave Edina White at #1. The next group is just one massive clump in our eyes. They remain in the previous rankings order, Osseo/Maple Grove Black slides up to #5 after tying #2 Hermantown B1. Minnetonka black had a rough week and fell all the way down to #10.

Commentary

Easy to choose the top teams in Minnesota after a tournament that hosts 8 of the T10. Andover sinks their teeth into some great competition beating both Edina teams, OMG, Woodbury and Hermantown en route to their association's first ever Squirtacular title.

Three weeks until many of these teams square off in Fargo for a crack at redemption from the Squirtacular.

Commentary

Whew, the YHH crew was able to survive this Squirtacular Tournament. Congrats to #1 Duluth for winning the tournament, defeating Sioux City 3-2 in overtime. #2 Minnetonka White finished tied for Third after falling to Sioux City in overtime in the semifinals. #4 Wayzata Gold and #8 Eden Prairie also participated in the Squirtacular and had strong showings as well. Mahtomedi slides to #6 this week after falling to #5 Forest Lake. We welcome Rogers Black to the Top 10 in the ever-hard-to-fill #10 spot.
